Stop the Federal Government’s encroachment upon State’s Rights as provided for in the U.S. Constitution in the traditions of the founding fathers, and Support the Patrick Henry Caucus in their efforts to do so.

Minimize the number of Federal mandates and programs in which Utah will participate (ie. Healthcare, Cap & Trade, Education, Suppression of 2nd Amendment rights, and Welfare).

Axe excess spending of Utah’s tax revenues AND the method by which the current state income tax is being calculated.

Restore: Water rights based on original deeds with self-regulation for quality control and liability insurance limits for owners and users of water canals; Restore: Individual’s property rights by legislatively controlling the use of recent Eminent Domain cases through heavy penalties levied on municipalities that misuse Eminent Domain powers; Restore: Access to minerals on Federal land within the Utah’s borders; Restore: Checks and balances by recalling the 17th Amendment (or overturn it) as provided for by the U.S. Constitution when it was brought forth by the founding fathers.
